Free-stylin' cop.

Apparently this cop we ran into in the middle of no-where Mississippi used to play Ultimate when he was in college, and loves to freestyle. He knew all of scott browns moves.

Kitty

This post is dedicated to my cat Annie, who passed away a few weeks ago at an age of 15+. Fifteen years ago a woman my mom worked with found her abandoned on the street, and so we said we'd take her. She was a good cat, her breath was a bit smelly, but her fur was always soft.

In her old age. She was deaf and nearly blind.
Very confused.
Dominatrix. I put this as the full screen backdrop on one of the Foreign Language Computer Lab Computers in the fall of 2004...it stayed up the whole semester. Could you get any work done if this cat was staring at you tripple life size?

Jack has a baby!

From snake man...

Sophia!
By the way the clouds looked kinda cool here in fayetteville today.

Fools Fest 2008

So I trucked it on up to Lawrence, Kansas this past weekend to hang out for Fools Fest. I can't say I did much playing though seeing as I didn't go up with a team, but the 3 points I did play were awesome. The main event was Saturday night, when Kansas beat North Carolina and swarms of people packed into Mass st. in celebration. People were on rooftops, cars, signs, everywhere. The photos aren't really that aweful clear, but the point is to get a feel for what it was like to be there.

This is Kate. She is my old close buddy from Costa Rica, and she lives in Lawrence. I luckily got to see her briefly sunday, though unfortunately could not place the location of my camera, so instead here is a photo of her and I the last time we were saying our goodbye's a year ago rather than yesterday. Hopefully I'll be visiting her soon again.

Battle for the Bible Belt

This last weekend was one well spent in Little Rock, battling for that Chastity Belt. We barely lost it during the finals, losing 14-13, during a game that was muddy, rainy, competitive and tons of fun. We'll get 'em next time CatCo!

The previous years belt won by the Fayetteville ladies.
Andrea did a little pants swap with stevie. This really doesn't do it justice.

Spring has arrived! Besides the first one, here are some photos after heavy showers today.

I just like how the black branches cut and weave through the sky.
This ones for mom by request. The crabapple tree.

So this year for spring break SoCo took a team to Charleston, SC and played in two tournaments. We went 11-1 and won the first tourny called Overflow. We didn't loose any of our games at the second tourny, Follywood, but because it wasn't really a real tournament we didn't technically "win." The house we stayed at was beautiful and the weather was really nice as well for this time of year.
Rbill and JCheek going up for the disc.

Corner of King and Market downtown.
Taking the wrong turn is SO fun!

Sand blowin' around.
Bjax with a horse shoe crab.
Rbill! Georgia Moonshine that taste just like tamarindo! (not kidding mom)

Spring!

Acutally it's kinda cloudy out, but the rain was nice, and the temperature is outstanding.

This photo isn't too exciting, but for some reaosn I'm drawn to it's composition.
My mom's building barracks in case, you know, Northwest Arkansas ever goes to war with Central Arkansas. Better safe than sorry mom.

We study long time

The very best study location is kept almost a complete secret right here in Fayetteville, AR. They call it Denny's. Between the food, the constant flow of free coffee refills, and the amazing study break entertainment, there is no other place comparable. Denny's will never close it's doors for you, so come on in, I recommend the Slamburger.
Apparently the waiter thought we looked like the "creamer" types.
Stevie holds the current record for time spent studying, 12 hours, 6pm-6am. But with midterms fastly approaching, I only expect that stat to grow exponentially. Please note once again all of the unused coffee creamer.
And it snowed while we were there!
Yippie!

As of late

The team headed down to Conway this last weekend and won the tourny "Hendrix Ultimate Experience." Way to go ToFu! Here is our trophy.

In other news there is this vase of tulips hanging out up at my parents house, and the sun was making them look awefully beautiful this afternoon. So here goes another photo flower shoot by ST.A closer look.

The kiddo's I nanny

Today me and the two kids I hang out with everyday from 3-6 walked to the Root Elementary to play around and eat snacks. Ahhh the life of a 6 and a 9 year old.
We stopped at this little park on the way home to skip some rocks.
Here we are, headed towards adventure with all the 5 blocks ahead of us we can muster. Wonderwoman and her snacks keep a close eye.
