Big two one is where your friends treat you right

First beer! Yay for turning 21!
This I did not need. But none the less, how was I supposed to turn down a present?
Jade and I are very deeply close. We shall wed one day.

This weekend=Regionals

SoCo didn't do as well as we could have this weekend. We went 1-5. But if it's any consolation(to us), two of the teams we played were the two teams that were in the finals to go to nationals. Oh well. I think we played ok for the lack of subs that we had. We had 4 until Megan Reagan hurt her ankle during the third game on the first day. It was very sad, and our sub numbers hurt us agianst teams with 15 players or more. Oh well, I had a great time and learned a lot about two positions I rarely have played until now.
This picture is actually courtesy of Samantha Leflar. My camara is fun.
Here is our small team.
This is a neat action shot from the mens finals.
Another cool shot with bad definition. The fellow in white in the air has caught the disc.
My lovely sam and I of course.

Just outside...

I feel like I see Praying Manti as often as I see squirrels around these parts.

Sectionals in Memphis

SoCo had their first tournament this weekend in Memphis, and we went 3-2, putting us in second place. It was a "short" one day tournament because there wern't a heck of a lot of teams. Five games in a row though without breaks, can be rather trying on a hot day in Tennessee.
Coach Heather.
7 on the line.
Coach Heather's baby.

Beale Street

Lizzie and I. And I'm kida verging on mulletness. Maybe I should fix that.

There was this crazy acrobatic man doing really superb flips in the street.
These people are possibly pointing at the live goats hanging out on a terrace across the street.People watching was the main event(besides the great music coming from all directions). Here are two fellas getting their bling on and showin' off theys grillz. My favorite though, was the pink silk playboy bunny outfit the bald man in the background was sporting.

Hey Look!

I'm going to go ahead and redirect everyone to my brothers blog right now. He's not in Bangladesh anymore, he's over in Panama. So if you want you can take a quick gander at some of the photos he's taken recently, which are pretty cool if you ask me. And his latest adventure isn't half bad either.

Is it just me?

Or are spiders frightening. This one thought it would be nice to feast just outside of my living room window.

Nooga Nooga

Chattanooga was this weekend and I suppose we all had a rockin' time. Here is a little documentation of the party, because I didn't manage to take any photo's at the fields.

Cowboys and indians.
Stevie and Allison.
Vikki n' Joy
No explination

Yay! We won the party and so here is our trophy!
Oh, and we ran into some drag....

Ben's new style

So on Friday night, just before the tournament started, good ole' BWB allowed us to trim his locks for the weekend. If you want to see his doo, you'de better see it now because Joel is scheduled to shave it off any time now.
Ben before.
It was all about teamwork.

Spelunking vs. Caving

So a while ago, a friend of mine and I went caving, and while driving to our destination, I was informed that caving was the prefered term rather than spelunking. When I told him that caving was too monotonously regular for my taste, he said that many cavers will become offensive about the term used. Personally, you could add "ing" to almost anything and make it an action, where spelunk is not only an origional word to use, but is rather fun to say as well. So take that cavers, I'm a spelunker. What I would like to know, is why caving is the prefered word to those in which this applies. Any takers?
Yes. I'm in a cave here.

OH my GOODness!

So last night I was waiting tables when I was informed that just above the pizza make table in the kitchen, a large bird had committed suicide. They said that it had happened hours before, and someone had already disposed of the bird....but it's mark was still there. So, naturally, I retrieved my camera in order to document the experience, and here below is what I found. I couldn't get a very good photo because it had crashed into the window too far above me, but let me tell you, that was one defined bird print. You could see it's beak, eye marks, individual feather lines, claw marks from it's feet, and also it's wing expanse.
And down below is more of a close up for the feather details. I wish I could have gotten a better picture, it was wild looking. Look for its beack and eyes.

My mom and I...

...went for a ride the other day, and the weather was incredible. Fayetteville is finally starting to cool down and thank goodness. It rained last night for the first time in weeks, and even though it poured, the streams and creeks are dry as a bone this morning. Too bad, I guess floating before school starts is out of the picture...

Back roading.

I kinda like the perspective of this photo, and the way in which the railing directs your eye.
And here is mother, acting pooped. But let me tell you, she is just tickled to pieces that she got a new bike rack for her car. That's probably the only reason we even went riding, to utilize her new toy.

Yes. I live in Arkansas

Another one of the many uses of duct tape.
