Fungi

So I just potted this plant the other day, and yesterday I noticed this strange wee little growth at the base of the soil. I didn't recognize it to be be a part of the newly potted portion of the plant, so I decided to wait a couple of days to see what came of it...Well, I woke up this morning and the first thing I noticed were these pesky little mushrooms. I'm gonna have to get rid of those things before they start sprouting up in the carpet or something else just as mad. They look kinda cool for now, but with as many plants as I have in my house, there just isn't room for the both of us.

By the way, it's a super dreary day, and this useless post about mushroom is just helping remedy my cabin fever...or maybe it's just supporting it. I don't know. It's been raining all week and last night it even snowed a bit. I really just want it to be warm so I'm not stuck in the house any more. It can even rain all it wants, I have plans to paint the ceiling of my front porch so the rain would actually be kinda soothing at that point. But the cold, it's gotta go.
