Volcan Poás

So my mom just flew down here and is staying for almost 2 weeks. So on the first full day she was here we went to Volcan Poás for the day, visiting as well it's lake, and a waterfall(La Paz I think). Good views for sure.

Up close to its' bank.
Sulfur spewing out? Mark can you help me out here...
Itty bitty flowers, as usual.

My mom and I. She's a little taller than me.
A little baby plant. These are some of my favorites in the jungle.

This is the view from on the way there and back. It was a spectacular view in person.

Did you smell it? That sounds right. Sulfur gas creates a yellow color around most hydrothermal vents.
